2025 NPTE Topics

I’m happy to release topics for the 2025 National Parliamentary Tournament of Excellence. I want to start with a thank you to this year’s Topic Committee, which was myself, Alex Li, June Dense, Adeja Powell, and Kyle Pryor-Landman. There were some tricky questions to work through this year, but I’m very pleased with the way this group worked to find answers and produce high quality topics.

The topics for this year’s NPTE are
1. The United States federal government should significantly increase its investment in lithium mining in the United States.
2. The United States federal government should significantly increase its exploration of outer space.
3. The United States federal government should significantly increase its official diplomatic engagement with the government of the Syrian Arab Republic.
4. The East African Community Partner States should establish the East African Federation.
5. The Plurinational State of Bolivia should significantly decrease its investment in direct lithium extraction.
